What can we say? We told you so. The latest Backcountry.com helmet test demonstrated Prophet’s protective capabilities as superior to those of all other helmets in the test. Prophet absorbed all the different blows, bangs and slams Backcountry could hurl at it during the Melon Drop, Trunk Slam and Hammer tests. Prophet was the only helmet in the test to score a 5 out of 5 rating on all three tests. Backcountry’s unorthodox methods were designed to rigorously test the helmets in true-to-life, anecdotal situations.
Not only was Prophet the most protective of the helmets tested, it was also hailed as the lightest, most well ventilated helmet in the Backcountry test. Backcountry praised Prophet’s strength-to-weight ratio, reinforcing our recommendations and proving there’s no hot air coming from Leedom.
Prophet is a lightweight in-mold helmet, featuring 15 vents, 8 of which are on a slide for on-the-fly comfort control. Prophet is Soundtracks™ compatible.
